“Buggy for Books” Summer Reading Program Coming Soon!

Are you “Buggy for Books”? Summer is the perfect time to read. Join the Kempsville Elementary summer reading program. Students who read for 500 minutes will earn rewards and will be invited to our fall celebration. Look for a “Buggy for Books” reading log in your June 5th buddy folder or come by the library. Completed logs need to be returned to the KES library by September 18th.

KES Book Fair Big Success

Thank you to all the students, parents and volunteers who made the “Camp Read a Book” Fair such a success. Gross sales were over $8000 with 25% coming back to the library. These funds are being used to purchase additional AR quizzes and audio-visuals to support the curriculum. Your generosity will benefit all KES Indians!

KES PTA Scholastic Book Fair Coming Soon!

“CAMP READ A BOOK” is coming to the KES Library Media Center on Thursday, March 30th until April 5th. This is a PTA fund raiser for the library. Money raised will be used to purchase AR quizzes and books. The Book Fair will be open daily from 8:00 – 3:30. There will be a family night event on Friday, March 31th in conjunction with the KES Art Auction. The book fair will be open from 5:30 – 7:00 and then again after the auction. Join the fun and get bitten by the book bug! KES STUDENTS ARE BUZZY ABOUT BOOKS!
